Investing in Kids (INK!) – The St. Johns County Education Foundation

Investing in Kids (INK!) connects our community to classrooms and provides vital resources, innovative programs, and unwavering encouragement to over 52,000 students and 3,200 teachers-at no cost. As the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District, INK! is dedicated to helping every St. Johns County public school student reach their full academic potential.

Who We Are

Since 1994, INK! has worked to fill in the gaps where public funding may fall short for public education. We are passionate about cultivating success for students and teachers through funding, initiatives, and inspiration.

Our Impact

📌 Reach: Serving 52,000+ students and 3,200+ teachers across St. Johns County.

📈 Efficiency: 86 cents of every donated dollar goes directly to programs benefiting local kids, teachers, and schools.

Programs That Make a Difference

📚 FLY (Five Learning Years): Early literacy support for Pre-K to 1st grade students — supporting literacy development and closing the literacy gap. 

🎯 PIVOT: Targeted academic support and coaching for at-risk students — boosting learning, building resilience, and improving graduation rates.

✏ Tools 4 Schools: Delivering essential classroom supplies directly to classrooms — giving teachers and students the tools they need to succeed and helping teachers offset the amount they spend out-of-pocket each year on classroom needs.

💡 Take Stock in Children: Providing scholarships, mentors, and hope — helping St. Johns County kids escape the cycle of poverty through education, mentorship, college and career coaching.

💰 Cash for Classrooms: Classroom grants for transformative projects and ideas — funding innovative learning experiences for students and empowering teachers.

🙌 Mentorship & Community Engagement: Organizing community members as mentors, volunteers, and donors to strengthen our schools, support our teachers, and invest in students.
