The School District of Random Lake is proud that we are small enough to give each individual child the attention they need to be successful while also offering a large variety of opportunities for students to explore their interests and talents. We strive to challenge and support students on their own learning paths within and beyond the classroom.

What's Unique about our district? All divisions are housed under one roof, allowing for students to easily attend higher level classes to advance academically, allow volunteer opportunities working with younger grades, and providing a great sense of community.

As a District we offer:

School Psychologist/Student Services:

Through a collaborative approach to reach every student (CARES), we routinely monitor all students' progress to ensure we are meeting their academic, behavioral, and physical needs. Our teams support teachers and parents in the problem-solving process and value their involvement.

On-site Childcare Facility:

Rams Childcare offers a Preschool and School Readiness program for children ages 2 ½ to 4 years old to help prepare for 4K as well as before and after school programs until age 13. The program focuses on the growth and development of the child, both socially and academically. 

Special Education:

Low student to staff ratio with qualified special education teachers and classroom aids. Random Lake offers academic, behavioral, physical, and social interventions to students identified with special needs. We offer one on one instructional opportunities and academic and transition assessments to monitor student progress and needs.

Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists:

As part of an IEP, a student may receive services in the area of speech/language, occupational therapy and/or physical therapy. The special education department uses a team approach to service students who have been identified as needing assistance in the areas of speech and language, fine motor, gross motor, mobility, and daily living skills.

Title 1 Reading Program:

In-house Reading, Gifted & Talented, and Math Specialists:

Our specialists support teachers and students with in-classroom team teaching, small groups, one-on-one attention, and research-based interventions.

Fitness Center:

Open to community members, students and staff, the Fitness Center boasts a full resistance weight circuit, free weights, TRX equipment and cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary & recumbent bikes), as well as classes including Zumba, Spin, and Ropes.
