Granite Education Foundation

The mission of the Granite Education Foundation is to reduce barriers to learning and increase access for students and teachers in the Granite School District. 

Located in Salt Lake County, Utah, the Granite School District is the 4th largest district in the state, with over 54,000 students.  Our student population speaks over 100 different languages, 25% are English Language learners, and 47% qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch. 

The GEF reduces barriers to learning and increases access for students and teachers through our 4 Organizational Pillars: Access to Opportunity, Educator Support, Food Assistance, and Student Aid. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, we are able to provide transportation assistance, scholarships, teacher recognition, school snack pick up, student weekend meal kits, clothing assistance, school supplies, and many more resources that help Granite students focus on just being students.
